Memento Mori, my friends.
But I hope that the fate you meet
is not in the company of bullets and fire,
having tea time with demise.
But in the ambiance of calm,
where the notion of peace is bright
like a ripe, sunny orange.
Meeting old age with a smile,
in the company of the beloved.
It is the unfortunate twist of fate
That others draw the straw not quite as long
and fall quick to destiny's whip.
Under fire and under siege, our fellow comrades fall
beneath the murky sea of silence.
They are not the only ones,
guns and knives are but props in this production
The true players are the witnesses,
the innocent on the streets

The sound of the battlefield will forever haunt me. Moans echoing when fire has ceased , battle cries before the war, gunshots deafeningly loud. Horrifying, and always haunting the survivors. Never leaving your thoughts for even a second. Determined to make you feel the same pain that your fallen comrades felt. Which was actually worse. And if not the sounds, the sights.
Bodies were strewn endlessly about the battleground. Trying to step around them was a task in itself. Witnessing your partner get blown in half of missing limbs. You can't even imagine the hell we soldiers have been through. And yet everyone thinks they know.
A living hell
He had walked in the rain for hours. Or, so he thought. But it didn't matter to him, nothing did anymore. He continued to constantly reply tonight's event over and over again in his mind, making out any possibilities that he could conclude.
Thunder vibrated in his ears, lightening flashed, and rain poured. Still yet, he continued to walk. Puddles soaked the cuffs of his pants, not that the rain already wasn't, and his hair stuck to his face. Red and black fell in front of empty golden eyes.
Concrete met with his knees as he tried to punch his reflection in the puddle in front of him. The normal mirror image isn't what he saw. What he did

Her heart rammed against her ribcage, she had ran up several flights of stairs and was almost entirely out of breath. Pale blue eyes scanned the rooms for anyway to escape the unforgiving. A window came to her attention. It was misted over and closed but if she had enough time...
"Oh Lord." She prayed. "Please Save me and my children." Using as much strength as her fragile frame could, she pulled up on the window. Nothing. It was sealed shut. The assassins in the house had sealed everything off. There was no escape.
She pressed her hand against the glass and looked down.
"Chalice." Her voice barely audible and a silent tear ran down her

Him:
Serious anxiety flowing
Crashing through my mind
Blood rushing through my veins slowing
Muscles tightening upon compression, my footing's hard to find.
Bloody, broken, bruised, and branded,
I've won this fight,
Fractured ribs, the punch has landed.
But I don't think I'm going home tonight.
I stumble away from the scene,
She looks so scared,
Her eyes that beautiful pale green,
I'm so happy to see that she's there.
I fall to my knees and hold her close,
I don't want lose her, but It can't be stopped,
I want to tell her, I love her the most.
Her:
He looks so beaten, so bloodied and hurt,
I'm worried about him,
And scared,

:bulletpurple: So I've been going through some of my old or unfinished stories (pretty much all of them are unfinished) and
I wanted to rewrite Circus of Blood. So far, I've written twelve pages for two characters instead of one page per character.
In my honest opinion I think that it's pretty awesome and it sounds soooo much better than
the original story!
:bulletblack: Ash is so much more developed and hilarious and you really get a feel for each individual character.
But instead of having six main characters, I think I'm only going to have three. In addition to that, the characters I would use would
be Dagger, Ash, and Chaos...I m
